It's Time to Celebrate the Light!

Every two years in August, at General Council, we premiere a new Celebrate the Light video presentation. This year’s is very special because both videos presented illustrate how missionaries in very different environments skillfully utilize Light for the Lost funds to evangelize.

In Guatemala, missionaries David and Marie Turner use LFTL funds to produce and print resources that help people struggling with addiction find a pathway out of that life and turn to Jesus Christ for hope. Also, LFTL funds provide the Turners with Spanish FireBibles. You’re going to love the beautiful scenery and storytelling in this video.

In the second video, we see missionaries Kurt and Stephanie Plagenhoef using LFTL funds for more than 20 years to evangelize and plant churches throughout Albania—a very spiritually hungry and largely unreached nation in Europe.

Kurt shares four quick stories of people directly impacted by the resources provided with LFTL funds. You are going to especially love the final story, where an Albanian pastor weeps as he describes what it was like to receive a FireBible in his language.
